Operation Dove’s Wings commenced on Monday, with arrival of some 240 Olim from Ethiopia, half of them children, on the first charter flight. The flight was organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel, pursuant to the July government decision to increase the rate of Ethiopian Aliyah, in order to complete the immigration of the remainder of the Falash Mura to Israel.
The ceremony at Ben Gurion airport took place during the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors, which is taking place this week in Tel Aviv, with Jewish leaders from Israel and around the world.
On July 2012, the government of Israel decided to increase the rate of Aliyah from Ethiopia in order to complete the process as quickly as possible. It was decided to reopen the Jewish Agency’s Ibim Absorption Center at the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council, which will be able to accommodate up to 600 of the Falash Mura.
Immigrants arriving from Ethiopia will also be housed in 16 Absorption centers around the country, run by the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption. In order to facilitate absorption of the new immigrants, Jewish communities around the world and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews have raised $3 million, in addition to $1.5 million invested by the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.
Operation Dove’s Wings is expected to be completed by October 2013, with the arrival of the remainder of eligible Falash Mura, who have been waiting in Gondar. The Jewish Agency for Israel has been operating a community center in Gondar, headed by Asher Sium, to provide services for the waiting Olim. The center provides a comprehensive range of social services with the support of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. These include preparation classes for Aliyah run by a group of volunteers, humanitarian assistance, and catering services. The center also runs a school which includes Hebrew and Jewish studies, as well as the regular curriculum of the Ethiopian Education Ministry.
Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel Natan Sharansky said at the ceremony: “What a miracle. I just met a brother and a sister who were reunited today after 25 years. Well, we the Jewish people have just been reunited after 25 centuries. When Ethiopian Jewry left Israel, there was no Hannukah. Now we can celebrate both Hannukah and Yom Haatzmaut together. Together we are writing the last page of the history of Ethiopian Jewry. We are now bringing all of our brothers from Africa to Israel. This is happening thanks to the State of Israel, world Jewry and our Christian allies.”

Church plays Shenouda speeches as Copts vote for 3 papal finalists - Politics - Egypt - Ahram Online

A delegation of five priests from the Ethiopian Orthodox Church cast their votes for a new Coptic Orthodox Pope on Monday noon.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is allowed to dispatch five representatives to vote in the Coptic papal election, in line with 1957 Coptic Church bylaws stating that the Ethiopian Church – which formally separated from Egypt's Coptic Church in 1959 – should have a say in the selection of the Coptic patriarch.
"The Ethiopian Church has a right to participate in the election of the pope in Egypt, just like the Egyptian Church has a right to participate in the election of the Ethiopian pope," Coptic Church spokesman Bishop Paula told Ahram Online.
Bishop Gabriel Milad Khalil of Austria and Zurich has arrived in Cairo to cast his vote. Bishop Botrous Milad Ayoub Gerges of New York has also flown in to take part.
Coptic voters have begun the process of electing a Coptic Orthodox Pope to succeed the late Pope Shenouda III on Monday morning at the main Coptic cathedral in Cairo.
The voters will choose three finalists out of five candidates.
These three will go on to run in the final phase of the electoral process: the 'alter lottery' on 4 November, in which a blindfolded child will randomly select the name of the church's next pope.
A celebratory mood engulfed the church as posters of the five candidates adorned the walls.
Officials have set up food and refreshment stands to welcome the voters.
The Cathedral's internal radio broadcasted lectures by the late Pope Shenouda III as well as segments introducing each of the five candidates and their backgrounds.
The nominees are:
1. Father Pachomios El-Syrian: A monk at the El-Syrian Monastery (dedicated to the Virgin Mary) in Wadi Natrun, a valley situated in Egypt's Nitrian Desert. Born in Aswan, Upper Egypt, in 1963, he holds a joint degree in science and education. Father Pachomios currently resides in Italy.
2. Bishop Raphael: Auxiliary bishop of central Cairo and the capital's Heliopolis district, a former aide to the late Pope Shenouda III and a member of the Coptic Church's Holy Synod. Born in Cairo in 1954 and a graduate of Ain Shams University's medical faculty, Raphael was ordained bishop in June 1997.
3. Father Raphael Ava Mina: A monk at St Mina Monastery (Mar Mina), located in the Western Desert near the coastal town of Alexandria. Born in Cairo in 1942, Raphael has a law degree from Ain Shams University.
4. Father Seraphim El-Syrian: Also a monk at the El-Syrian Monastery. Born in 1959 in Cairo, Seraphim holds a science degree from Ain Shams University. He lives in the US.
5. Bishop Tawadros: Auxiliary bishop for the northern Beheira governorate, and auxiliary to Bishop Pachomios (who is currently serving as acting pope). A member of the Holy Synod, the Coptic Church's highest authority, Tawadros was born in 1952 and studied pharmaceutical sciences at Alexandria University. He was ordained bishop in 1997.
About 2,406 electors from the Coptic community have been chosen by the church to cast their ballots in the papal electoral process. The electors are drawn from among Coptic archbishops, bishops, lay council members and agents of the archdioceses, as well as prominent Coptic laymen including Coptic newspaper editors-in-chief and members of the Egyptian Journalists' Syndicate. Additionally, there are five electors from the Ethiopian Church.
The vote will be held from 9am to 5pm.
Eight ballot boxes have been laid out this morning to receive the votes. Two of them will be reserved for electors that live abroad. These can either come to Egypt to cast their ballots themselves or assign Egypt-based proxies to do it for them by obtaining legal authorization from their respective embassies.
The winner will become the 118th Coptic Pope of Egypt and will replace Pope Shenouda III who passed away in March.
The last papal elections were held in 1971.

First flight of last Ethiop... JPost - Jewish World - Jewish News

Operation Dove's Wings will bring remaining Ethiopians to Israel by March 2014, first flight to bring 240 to Israel.

A charter flight of some 240 Ethiopian Jews is set to arrive in Israel Monday afternoon, the beginning of the final stages of aliya from Ethiopia.
Monday's scheduled flight marks the beginning of Operation Dove's Wings, an Israeli government initiative to bring the remainder of the Falash Mura -- Ethiopians whose ancestors converted from Judaism to Christianity -- to Israel by March 2014.
The Ethiopians are waiting in a refugee camp in the Gondar province before coming to Israel. Some have been waiting for 10 years.
The flight is the first of a series of scheduled monthly flights.
Last July, the Israeli government decided to increase the rate of aliya from Ethiopia in order to complete the process as quickly as possible.
The Jewish Agency’s Ibim Absorption Center, a student village in southern Israel located near Sderot, will accommodate up to 600 of the new immigrants. The center was opened with $3.1 million in assistance from the Jewish Agency and $1.4 million from the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was scheduled to participate in a ceremony to welcome the new Ethiopian immigrants on Monday afternoon, but cancelled his appearance. Vice Premier Silvan Shalom will attend the ceremony in his place. Government officials, as well as philanthropy officials from Israel and the United States, will also be present in the ceremony.

The Ark of the Covenant

The Ark of the Covenant
In the end period of King Yoashiyahu rule, he hid the Ark.

The Ark of the Covenant “appears” gone, it is concealed until the one who had it hid reveals it AGAIN.

Yet its influence is still available in in hidden and concealed ways.

The sages in Yoma teach that there were actually 2 Arks. One was made by Moses and the other by Betzalel. Mose’s one held the Tablets of the Commandments until Betzalel’s Ark was completed. Then Betzalel’s Ark took over as “The Ark”, and Moshe’s Ark was dedicated to be the Ark of War. It was Moshe’s Ark that went out into battle before the Israelite army killing the enemies by sending forth some kind of “energy” .

The Ark was a mere box of wood and gold of fine artistic work, with stone tablets. The Cherubim

(angels) on the Ark were not just pretty decorations. When the Divine Presence filled the Ark, the Cherubim on top would move and turn towards each other.. Their wings would open and close. Betzalel was taught spiritual Divine secrets to build the Ark and all the “mishcon” (Tabernacle). We do know Betzalel was a master of the meditative techniques of the ‘Sefer Yetzirah’ (Book of Creation) as according to its way the work was, and is done. All is according to as it is above The Ark below was formed in the image of the Ark above and connected to it. Do not be mistaken there is nothing physical in Heaven.

The Ark is a communications device a “relay” from God in the Heavens. From the are goes out the spirit of Holiness to Holy sages and from it the Prophets would receive prophesy. By the ark the High Priest communicated with God . The Ark was not like a radio or telephone, it would not work for just “anybody”. Only a man properly prepared, of refined character “can tune in” to the Divine broadcast.

The methods necessary to “hook up” are not and never have been publicly elaborated.

The High Priest would approach the Ark wearing Breastplate of Judgment it had mysterious things called “Urim” and “Tummim” Inside it. They are Names of God that animated the Breast plate. The High Priest approached the Ark, contemplated his question.

The 12 stones on the Breastplate would begin to light up, specific letters on the stones would shine and a strange high pitched sound (not everyone would be able to hear).

Only by “Ruach haKodesh” the Holy Spirit could one decipher any answer being given by the

Breastplate. The letters that lit up on the breastplate did not spell out “obvious” sentences or words. The message could only be understood by one who has “Ruach HaKodesh” and is trained in the methods of Sefer Yetzirah and its “complimentary” knowledge.

Whatever happened to the Ark, is a confusing tradition. When we entered into the period of exile the Ark, along with the breastplate were concealed. By this prophecy came to an end soon

afterwards.

Here is all that can be said :

Ah, the Mercy seat. You think there would be two? Would Levi offer a burnt offering, made with fire, on an alter made with stone hune with human hands?

Nay, Brother, Jacob, there is but One whom sits upon that seat. There were two tables of commandments that were made, because of the golden calf.

Re: The Ark of the Covenant
The Ra Material on the Ark of the Covenant:

Questioner: Thank you. I don’t know if this question will result in any useful information, but I feel that I must ask it. What was the ark of the covenant, and what was its use?

Ra: I am Ra. The ark of the covenant was that place wherein those things most holy, according to the understanding of the one called Moishe, was placed. The article placed therein has been called by your peoples two tablets called the Ten Commandments. There were not two tablets. There was one writing in scroll. This was placed along with the most carefully written accounts by various entities of their beliefs concerning the creation by the One Creator.

This ark was designed to constitute the place wherefrom the priests, as you call those distorted towards the desire to serve their brothers, could draw their power and feel the presence of the One Creator. However, it is to be noted that this entire arrangement was designed, not by the one known to the Confederation as Yahweh, but rather was designed by negative entities preferring this method of creating an elite called the Sons of Levi.

Questioner: Was this a device for communication then? You also said that they drew power from it. What sort of power? How did this work?

Ra: I am Ra. This was charged by means of the materials with which it was built being given an electromagnetic field. It became an object of power in this way and, to those whose faith became that untarnished by unrighteousness or separation, this power designed for negativity became positive and is so, to those truly in harmony with the experience of service, to this day. Thus the negative forces were partially successful but the positively oriented Moishe, as this entity was called, gave to your planetary peoples the possibility of a path to the One Infinite Creator which is completely positive.

This is in common with each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation, yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker.

Questioner: Where is the ark of the covenant now? Where is it located?

Ra: I am Ra. We refrain from answering this query due to the fact that it does still exist and is not that which we would infringe upon your peoples by locating.

Am'mi

The hornet will go before you.

Psalm 83
A prayer for the destruction of Israel's enemies

"[[A Song [or] Psalm of Asaph.]] Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
Do unto them as [unto] the Midianites; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
[Which] perished at Endor: they became [as] dung for the earth.
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:..."

"He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:"

Re: The Ark of the Covenant
correction

The Ark was NOT a mere box of wood and gold of fine artistic work, with stone tablets. The Cherubim (angels) on the Ark were not just pretty decorations.

Even if the Temple does not exist today, still in its merit the world is fed. Sustenance is emited from there to every place..................................
